President of the Congress

President of the Turkish Pharmacological Society Executive Committee

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Turkish Pharmacological Society Executive Committee, I am delighted to invite you to the 26th National and 1st International Pharmacology Congress, which will be held virtually on November 4-6 2021. I am also excited to welcome you to the first international congress in addition to our national congress while missing the opportunity to hold our congress face to face due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The aim of our national congresses, which are traditionally held every two years, is to both follow and share scientific developments in the field of pharmacology and to strengthen our scientific and social network by coming together with our mentors, friends, and students. We aim to establish a good virtual environment to follow and share scientific developments at the 26th National and st International Pharmacology Congress. Although we cannot completely compensate for not being able to come together face to face, we look forward to meeting you through virtual social events and “chat rooms”.

Our congress secretaries Prof. Günay Yetik Anacak and Prof. Gökçe Topal Tanyılmaz are working hard to create the scientific program of the congress with the support of our other Executive Committee members. We have gratefully received the contributions of the Scientific Committee formed of national and international scientists. At our congress, both nationally and internationally distinguished scientists in the field of Pharmacology will take part as speakers or panelists. Moreover, the availability of abstracts for oral and poster communications in both English and Turkish will enable the broader accessibility at the national and international levels. In addition, our working groups will hold their symposiums/panels in sessions parallel to the main congress program.

The company, NL MICE, which will manage the organization of our congress and have started to work to bring us together in a virtual environment. I invite you to add our congress in the first week of November to your calendars and to follow our congress web page and announcements.

On behalf of our Executive Committee, I send my best wishes and regards, with the hope of being together on 4-6 November 2021.
